New Crochet Kits in my Etsy Shop!

Crochet a unique bag with recycled silk fabric and VHS videotape. The kit contains an original pattern, a spool of VHS tape, and silk fabric "yarn" to complete one bag. I create the yarn by selecting various strips of recycled silk fabric from saris and clothing which I hand tie into a continuous length. Each kit is different combinations of yarns--no two kits contain the same exact fabric selection. The construction and stitching is rather simple--single crochet is used throughout so this is appropriate for all skill levels. The ragged knotted ends create a delightfully textural surface in the bag--it is one of a kind!
